A boutique marketing agency in Lynnwood, Pretoria.

The founder

Nice to meet you.

I’m Carla van der Merwe, founder of Tjirp Media. I completed my Honours in Marketing Management, and I’m equally happy talking creative ideas or getting into the numbers behind them.

I love figuring out what makes a business interesting and how to get other people to see it too. Sometimes that starts with a good conversation. Sometimes it’s looking at a website and thinking, we can do so much more with this.

To me, marketing is so much more than creative designs and catchy captions. It’s understanding people, asking questions and making sense of a landscape that seems to change just as you’ve caught up. There’s always something to learn, try or rethink. That’s what keeps me interested.

Tjirp is our boutique marketing agency based in Lynnwood, Pretoria. We’re a small team bringing strategy, content, social media, websites and paid marketing together, with plenty of room for personality.

I stay involved, I care about the details, and I want to know how things are going after we’ve pressed publish. I know how much goes into building a business.

Helping yours find its voice and get noticed is the part I love.

Xx Carla
